Android Malware Mines Monero, Can Literally Destroy Phones

We have seen apps that can cause battery to heat-up over extended use or sometimes even when app isn't functioning correctly. Similarly, one can design an app that can cause the app to behave badly in the background, which would eventually cause the battery to heat up and burst.
And this can be configured to happen rather quickly, doesn't have to happen over extended usage. 

There isn't any task manager on phones, just like on PC's, that shows apps and their memory usage for someone to kill a process. This article provides details of one such malware that will be surfacing in the market pretty soon.
